Job Overview

The holder should demonstrate scientific experience or qualification of working within a research environment as he/she will be supporting the wide range of activities undertaken by the Researcher Development team and managers. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide end-to-end administrative support to a varied portfolio of externally funded research projects. The role will include communications support, overseeing projects submission process, facilitating meetings and events.

The role is responsible for evangelizing our solutions and software development services in the enterprise market segment, leading sales activities and consulting clients on best practices and strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities and duties

Overall responsibility for the administrative management of the R&D department in close cooperation with the R&D Manager and the CEO. Maintaining databases to aid with the projects’ submission process. Developing the design of that database where necessary to improve the information that can be retrieved. Keep up to date the existing records. Provide an efficient administrative service and facilitate effective communication between the Programme, key internal stakeholders and external partners. Strong organizational skills, as well as recent experience of producing high quality grant applications, reports and briefing materials.

Experience and skills

2+ years of experience with project administration.

Fluent in English (both verbally and in written form).

Strong communication (both oral and written in formal and informal situations).

Responsibility, flexibility.

Excellent attention to details.

Ability to work both in a team setting and independently; self-motivated.

Ability to work in multinational environment.

Organisational skills, personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key communication skills.

Systems experience desirable.

The ability to build relationships and collaborate with others is vital.

Demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of an organization.

A positive and proactive person who is energized by having great responsibility.

Practical, action-orientated approach to managing priorities.

Strong computer skills in MS Office

Knowledge of European R&D&I landscape is an advantage (H2020, Structural Funds etc.).
