COncORDE for “Victims trapped under the rubble”

On April 28, Search & Rescue Project consortium met up in Poggioreale, Sicily to test innovative technologies and equipment in a simulation during the Use Case 1 “Victims trapped under the rubble”.

Back to the field command center, Mrs. Angelica Theodorou and Mr. Iosif Sklavidis, the exercise project managers from Konnektable Technologies, used the COncORDE platform to gather heterogeneous data from the various sensors and smart devices in order to enhance the safety and operational capabilities of the first responders.

As they explained, during the exercise, the COncORDE crisis management platform alongside with the Data Lake ecosystem, both developed by Konnektable Technologies, supported the coordination and decision processes for the early location of entrapped victims.
