Konnekt-able Technologies Ltd complies with General Data protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. Article 8(1) of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (the ‘Charter’) and Article 16(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) provide that everyone has the right to the protection of personal data concerning them. General Data Protection Regulation, EU national laws and US data protection legislation are observed by Konnekt-able (“KT”,“we”,“our”)when processing personal information of its employees, agents, suppliers and customers (“users”, “data subjects”). Konnekt-able is committed to ensuring that personal data is kept secure, accurate and up-to-date.
Staff data is collected during the recruitment process, and may include name, surname, physical address, e-mail address and banking details (for payments). In the main, customers are legal persons, rather than individuals, and thus any personal information is collected at the customer level, such as name, surname, ID number, contact details (phone number, home/office, address, PC). Relevant personal data regarding employment relationship are internally notified to the employees of Konnekt-able.
This Policy also sets out how Konnekt-able uses and protects information processed and collected of the individuals that visit its website and make use of its online facilities and services.
Collection of Information
To serve cooperation with our suppliers, customers and partners, Konnet-able’s website collects the following information: Voluntarily provided information which may include name, surname, ID number, contact details (phone number, home/office, address, PC). The collection also regards information automatically collected when visiting our website, which may include cookies, third party tracking technologies and server logs.
Purpose of Processing
The legal basis for the processing of personal data by Konnekt-able is mainly the consent and service of any contracts. In terms of its employees the execution of the employment contract which is again followed by a written consent.
Data Transfer to Third Countries
Data is also processed by the Contractor in third countries (outside of the EEA). The transfer of personal data to a third country by the Contractor is carried out on the basis of an adequacy decision in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR and/or on the basis of suitable guarantees in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR (e.g. Standard Contract Clauses/Standard Data Protection Clauses issued by the Commission and concluded between KT and the Processor in a third country).
Rights of the subjects
The data subjects have the following rights regarding their personal information processed by Konnekt-able:
- Right to obtainment of all processed data used by KT;
- Right of access to the data kept by KT;
- Right to rectification and erasure of any personal data upon request to KT;
- Right to restriction of processing, in the event of certain circumstances;
- Right to data portability, where, under certain circumstances, the data subjects have the right to receive the personal data concerning them, which they have provided to KT, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from KT.
- Right against decisions based solely on automated processing, when specific requirements apply, as such processing normally produce legal effects or similarly significantly effects on the data subjects.
Konnekt-able shall endeavor and shall take every measure to maintain adequate physical, procedural and technical security throughout its offices and information storage facilities so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of the data subjects’ personal information.
Relevant personal data records takes place for a period of seven years for the needs of our website and business operations, and are afterwards destroyed, unless otherwise required by statute or by any other contracts KT has entered into.
