KYKLOS 4.0 Open Call #2 has launched

Do you have an innovative solution to improve manufacturing processes?

Apply now to the KYKLOS4.0 – Open Call #2 for up to €150.000 in funding.

KYKLOS 4.0, a project funded by the European Union’s H2020 research and innovation programme, has €2 million to a minimum 14 consortia of SMEs and industrial entities to deliver innovative solutions to help advance and improve manufacturing processes.

It is a 48-month project delivered by 29 organisations across Europe. It aims at providing an ecosystem that creates and supports the configurations, methodologies, production techniques, decisions and actions at all different levels and stages of the equipment manufacturing value chain as well as to deliver an increased production efficiency, reduce waste, boost competitiveness, and lower costs for European manufacturers.

The KYKLOS 4.0 – Open Call #2 invites SME-led consortia of up to three entities to submit project proposals for the development of innovative solutions to improve manufacturing processes. The project should aim to develop innovative solutions for a specific manufacturing scenario in which the consortium will have to carry out a pilot experiment in a manufacturing environment. The scenario must be addressed by developing a solution that adopts one or more services selected (and respective components) from the KYKLOS 4.0 platform, which should be integrated and validated as part of the defined experiment.

Proposed solutions should demonstrate a high innovation potential and be ready to explore commercialisation opportunities by the end of the experiment period and be integrated in the KYKLOS 4.0 marketplace.

The open call offers:

  • Equity-free funding: Up to €150.000 per project (for consortia of three partners).
  • KYKLOS 0 technologies: get access to and integrate in your experiment technologies being used in the KYKLOS4.0 project.
  • Business support: business coaching and training, support in defining value proposition and testing business ideas, funding
  • Visibility and promotion: promotion of project and results via the 0 network, access to events, potential meet-up and connection to investors.

How does it work:

Visit the KYKLOS4.0 website to access all the relevant documentation and prepare your proposal, which must be submitted via F6S,  by 12 October 2022.
