KT at the GLITTER Plenary Meeting in Nicosia

On 2–3 October 2025, the consortium of the GLITTER Project convened in Nicosia, Cyprus, for its latest Plenary Meeting, hosted by CARDET. As project coordinator, Konnektable Technologies Ltd. was proud to bring together partners from across Europe to review progress, exchange knowledge, and prepare the next steps in the journey towards empowering schools, educators, and learners with tools and practices for digital well-being.

The two-day meeting began with constructive discussions on national mappings of best practices in digital well-being, providing a comparative view of how different European contexts address the challenges of digital life in education. This laid the groundwork for advancing the design of the whole-school approach framework, which will serve as a cornerstone for creating healthier and safer digital environments in schools. Partners also delved into the design of practical instruments and resources that will equip educators and students with effective strategies to foster balance and well-being in their daily use of technology.

The second day focused on the coordination and management of the project, ensuring that deliverables remain on track and that financial and reporting structures support smooth implementation. Looking ahead, the consortium prepared for pilot activities, where tools and frameworks will be tested and evaluated in real school environments. A strong emphasis was also placed on communication and dissemination, aiming to maximize the reach and sustainability of GLITTER’s results, while quality assurance processes were reinforced to maintain high standards across all outputs.

Beyond the working sessions, the meeting also offered opportunities for partners to connect on a personal level, with cultural activities in the heart of Nicosia. These moments of informal exchange strengthened collaboration and reaffirmed the shared commitment of the consortium.

The Plenary Meeting in Cyprus was an important milestone in the project’s lifecycle. It not only aligned technical and strategic priorities but also reinforced the collaborative spirit that underpins GLITTER. Konnektable is proud to coordinate this consortium and looks forward to the upcoming pilot phase, which will bring the project’s innovative practices into classrooms and educational communities across Europe.

Stay tuned for more updates as GLITTER continues its mission to build supportive, sustainable, and impactful digital well-being solutions for learners and educators.
