KT at the GreenEdge Kick-Off Meeting in Poland

On 18-19 March 2026, the Kick-Off Meeting of the GreenEdge Project took place in Poland, hosted by AGH University of Krakow, marking the official launch of a new EU-funded initiative under the Erasmus+ Programme (KA220-HED – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education).

As a newly funded project, GreenEdge brings together project partners from Poland, Ireland, Turkey, Cyprus, Germany and the Netherlands, forming a strong international collaboration around sustainability, innovation and education.

The GreenEdge Project aims to empower higher education students, educators and entrepreneurs with the skills needed to foster sustainable entrepreneurship through innovative gamified learning pathways and a virtual incubator. By providing practical tools, mentorship and resources, the project seeks to support the development of circular economy solutions, bridge skills gaps, promote sustainability and create long-term impact in the green economy.

During the meeting, project partners came together to discuss key priorities and next steps for the project’s implementation. The agenda included planned activities and cooperation across work packages under project management, the development of microcredential-based learning pathways for sustainable entrepreneurship, the design of an AI-based multidisciplinary gamified course, the creation of a gamified virtual incubator and dissemination activities.
