On 5 March 2026, the IT4EST Replication Roadshow took place in Proença-a-Nova, Portugal, bringing together project partners and technology providers to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations and explore practical solutions for forest management and wildfire risk prevention. The event was organised by Florecha Forest Solutions and MNLT Innovations.
The Replication Roadshow marked an important milestone for the IT4EST initiative, giving partners the chance to present their technological developments, discuss progress and strengthen collaboration within the consortium. Participants engaged in a series of focused sessions addressing the Roadshow’s objectives and expected outcomes, as well as the broader context of the European Forest Test Bed Network.
The programme featured presentations on emerging digital solutions for forest management and fire risk prevention, alongside technology demonstrations by IT4EST providers. Project partners presented their work, shared insights and highlighted their contributions to the development of innovative tools that support forest resilience.
The event concluded with a field demonstration titled “Transfer and Forest Site Visit”, offering participants the chance to observe real-world conditions and explore how technological solutions can be applied in practice. The visit underscored the importance of connecting research and innovation with on-site realities to ensure effective and practical outcomes.

Konnektable Technologies was remotely represented by our CEO, Dr Angelos Liapis, who actively contributed to the Roadshow by presenting the first draft of the IT4EST platform, based on CONCORDE, an advanced incident management and response tool enhanced with wildfire intelligence capabilities. Currently under development within the framework of the IT4EST Project, it is designed to strengthen preparedness and response by improving situational awareness, operational coordination and decision support for incident management teams.
Participation in the Replication Roadshow provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge with consortium partners, showcase new developments and contribute to the collective effort towards more effective forest management and wildfire risk mitigation across Europe.
