From June 23rd to 26th, Konnektable took part in the A-AAGORA General Assembly held in Tromsø, Norway, hosted by UiT – the Arctic University of Norway and Karlsøy Municipality. The event brought together all project partners for a strategic gathering focused on progress, collaboration, and the future of coastal and marine ecosystem restoration across the Atlantic and Arctic basins.

The meeting featured key presentations on the project’s mid-term achievements, digital innovation tools, living lab methodologies, and policy-oriented outputs. European Commission representatives and external advisory board members contributed valuable guidance for shaping A-AAGORA’s next phase.
Konnektable actively contributed to the discussions on digital infrastructure, co-leading sessions on the A-AAGORA digital platform and supporting collaborative development of storyboards and knowledge tools. Together with ATLANTIC CoLAB, we continued advancing digital storytelling solutions that support both monitoring and outreach across project demonstrations and associated regions.
A highlight of the week was a field visit to the Nordkvaløya-Rebbenesøya Marine Protected Area, where participants engaged directly with site-based concepts and local communities. This immersive experience reinforced the relevance of the project’s solutions in real-world, climate-sensitive settings.
Konnektable remains committed to supporting the project’s knowledge-sharing mission and the scaling of nature-based solutions through digital innovation.
We thank our hosts and partners for a productive and inspiring week in Tromsø.
