AI.4.Educators

Educating Educators on Artificial Intelligence (AI) – development of an AI training material and an AI educational program for educators.

The “AI.4.Educators” – Artificial Intelligence (AI) – project aims to enhance the engagement of educators with the AI field, through a multidisciplinary and holistic approach. To this end, it focuses on the technological aspects of AI, but also on the regulatory initiatives of the EU about AI and on the ethical values which should be embedded in the AI systems. The project also seeks to train educators on AI developments, with the use of digital tools and other interactive and innovative training methods.

Activities

  • Development of a digital platform and a digital survey section for hosting the project and detecting the training needs of educators on AI.
  • Development of AI training material by creating (i) a Practical, (ii) a Legal, and (iii) an Ethical AI Roadmap for presenting the current AI techniques and the parallel European discourse about the legal and the ethical implications of AI.
  • Development of an AI educational program including e-courses for the educators.

Impact

The project will have the following results:

  • Digital Platform of the Project.
  • Digital Survey for Detecting Training Needs of Educators on AI.
  • AI Training Material including (i) a Practical, (ii) a Legal, and (iii) an Ethical AI Roadmap.
  • AI educational program including e-courses.
  • Digital survey for evaluation of the project.

The consortium is coordinated by “MD BRAINNOVATION CONSULTING SINGLE MEMBER COMPANY”, in Athens and led by two partners “KONNEKTABLE TECHNOLOGIES LTD” in Ireland and “DOUMAG LTD” in Cyprus.
