Collaborative Open Platform for PILOTing services across energing smart IoT and Edge computing environments.
The COP-PILOT project is set to revolutionize industries by leveraging the power of edge computing, 5G connectivity, and decentralized processing. This newly launched initiative aims to develop a Collaborative Open Platform framework that orchestrates end-to-end services across diverse sectors, enabling enhanced automation, security, and resource management. By focusing on interoperability, COP-PILOT integrates seamlessly with IoT platforms and core infrastructures, laying the groundwork for advanced cross-sector applications in areas like mobility, logistics, and smart resource management.
In its initial phase, COP-PILOT is exploring practical applications through four piloting clusters focused on energy, smart cities, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. The project adopts a modular orchestration approach, featuring a user-friendly generative AI interface to streamline the onboarding of complex applications. With its emphasis on collaboration and innovation, COP-PILOT is poised to unlock the potential of intelligent edge ecosystems, fostering new opportunities for industries to innovate and grow.
